My friend works at the unemployment office. She told me that she walks in the door answering phones. Those that can’t get through to apply on the phonelines are coming to the office. She can barely get a bathroom break. Plus overtime is mandatory – 6hrs per week. Trying to help desperate people all day is stressing her out. While it’s a blessing to have a job it’s also pain when you need to manage your own family with only one free day.
