Erin Romney’s team of trainers at Romney Pilates Center in New Orleans knows the meaning of hard work. After all, their profession encompasses both mentally and physically challenging workouts all day, every day.
From invigorating yoga and meditation sessions to core strengthening pilates mat classes and intense regimens on cleverly coined equipment—the Wunda Chair and the Cadillac, for instance—Romney’s team offers a total health and wellness package for anyone looking to develop a more fit self for life.
Yet, Romney understands that a healthy self is inevitably contingent on a healthy environment. And while vigorous workouts are typically the physiological answer to developing and maintaining fitness, the same tenacious approach does not, in fact, apply to matters concerning our global resources.
The lighter we tread upon our environment, the better. With this in mind, Romney set out to create her studio on Magazine Street in Uptown New Orleans utilizing green materials and eco friendly practices in all aspects of her design.
The resulting studio is a beautiful, functional space, which expertly blends her physical, intellectual, and spiritual ideals into a complete whole.
